Thomas Rhett is an amazing artist and song writer. He has a way of putting things into words that can make any girl listening to his songs feel special. It dreams up images of the type of man that treats a woman right. In his song "It Goes Like This" he creates this picture of a beautiful relationship. He is so in love with this woman that he can't help but sing about it. He doesn't care what people think or if it makes him look stupid he just wants to put it out there how she makes him feel. In his newest single "Get Me Some of That" he explores a more college type of relationship. It's like you're out with your friends and you spot somebody across the party or the bar and you can't help but be instantly attracted. It sparks something and you can't help but put forth the effort to meet them and get to know them. One of my favorite songs is "Take You Home" I really like this song because it brings up something that may not always get talked about in songs. In one line he says "I don't know who brought you here and he left you alone but he ain't worth the time you're spendin' textin' him on the phone girl" I think this is awesome because here this guy putting forth effort and saying I like you lets spend time together. He isn't playing games or ignoring her. He is saying you are amazing and worth spending time on, if a guy can't see that he doesn't deserve to even receive a text.
Thomas Rhett does have a lot of songs that are about relationships but he also has songs that discuss other things. "All-American Middle Class White Boy" is a fun one as well as "Sorry For Partyin'" I think he has done a good job with this album and I have been amazed by every song. I think he is very smart and he has the talent and knowledge to go far in country music. I can't wait to see what the future holds for this talented gentleman.
